No, I am not afraid of the Gatekeeper
He who holds the keys to cessation
Nor will I ever submit to this reaper
Forever fighting Death’s gestation
And if my fate ends up damnation
You won’t find me in Hell crying
If Death cuts short me and my aspiration
At least no one can blame me for trying

No, I would not describe myself as a believer
Through explanation or implication
Above all else I am merely an achiever
A well-oiled cog in our world’s machination
I’m riding the waves of tech’s oscillation
Trading my life for a chance at undying
If Time tells me it’s an impossible expectation
At least no one can blame me for trying

Yes, I am a transhumanist leader
Awaiting robotic Unity with elation
To finally do away with the reaper
And advance our world as one nation
No one can predict the world’s maturation
Try as we might by scrying
If I truly believe in a net positive summation
At least no one can blame me for trying

I am a daring harbinger of cogitation
Trying my best to end dying
Though if I fail at my worldly reformation
At least no one can blame me for trying
